According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the employment outlook for registered nurses is promising, with a projected growth rate of 6% from 2021 to 2031. This growth is roughly on par with the average for all occupations but within the field of nursing, certain specialties are anticipated to experience significantly faster growth.Nursing specialties -nurse anesthetists, nurse midwives, and nurse practitioners - are expected to see an impressive 40% increase in job opportunities. Pursuing a nursing specialty means increased job security. In a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, having specialized skills and expertise sets nurses apart from their peers, making them invaluable assets to healthcare organizations. With job security comes peace of mind, knowing that your career is not only stable but also in high demand.Your thoughts? #nurses #nursing #nursesjobs

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗱𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀. 𝗜 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽.I need your opinion because I am writing an article and want to include as many different voices as possible. The article is about all the VARIED reasons bedside nurses are leaving? My experiences as a bedside nurse left me with lots of opinions about why 50% of nurses either want to or already have left bedside (including me).𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻.🔸 I think making it clear that Hospitals are actively hiring plenty of nurses is the second thing that needs to happen before anything else can change. 🔸 But first, plenty of money has to be there to pay for the extra nurses or else nurses will not even think about it. 𝗦𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻? I think Rebecca Love RN, MSN, FIEL has the best chance at solving that piece of the puzzle with her plan to take Nursing out of the room rate. 𝗦𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. I am asking for your opinion because I already know what I think, I need to know what you all think.🔸 What are the big boy problems that keep you from wanting to take a bedside nursing job again? (if you have solutions, I would love to hear your ideas)Anything thought are much appreciated, just a quick opinion will be great. Thank you so much. #hospital #hospitalcare #nursesonlinkedin #registerednurse #registerednurses #lpn #lpns #nurse #nurseslife #nursingshortage #healthcare #nursing #nurses #nurseyourself

Like many professions, nursing has its share of superstitions. One common superstition among nurses is the "curse of the empty bed." It's believed that leaving an empty bed in a hospital room can invite bad luck or even death. To ward off this superstition, nurses often place pillows or other items in empty beds to give the appearance of occupancy. While it may seem silly, many nurses adhere to these traditions as a form of respect for their patients and their profession.www.CollaborativeNP.com#medical #hospitalistgroup #medicalstaffing #travelnurse #nurse #rn #travel #nurses #registerednurse #travelrn #rnlife #healthcare #nursingstudent #nurseproblems #travelnursejobs #nursepractitioner #nursingschool #travelrnjobs #collaborativenp #cnp #healthsystems #medicalproviders

#nursesonlinkedin No nurse was born an expert. You too struggled when you started out as a nurse. Give new nurses, both newly qualified and new hires to your department, an extension of grace to make mistakes and not know. I prefer a nurse who does not know instead of the one too afraid or proud to admit that they do not know. The latter can make deadly mistakes. Let us support each other.#nurses #nursesjobs #nurseblogger #newbeginnings

When was the last time you watched a nurse work? By rounding with them, you'll learn a lot. But keep in mind, patient rounding is only part of their job. There are many additional tasks that a nurse is working on at any given time. Here's the bigger picture of what goes into nursing, including all the little tasks you may not see: https://lnkd.in/gvkWqvis#Nursing #Nurses #NurseLeaders #HealthcareLeaders #Healthcare #BairdGroup
