29, 1914, in Terre Haute, and spent most of her life in Richmond, coming here Terre Haute. She retired from Dana in 1980. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. Her first husband, William G. Hughes, died in 1978, and second husband, John W.

She had lived in the Straughn area since 1933, where she and her husband farmed. She was a member of Straughn Community Chapel and attended Lockyear Business College at Evansville, and was a graduate of Schauffler Missionary College in Cleveland, in 1922. Paul United Methodist Church of Eaton. She retired in 1989 as Dayton Newspapers motor route carrier in Western Montgomery County. Her husband, Paul C. Kayler, died in 1983. Survivors include a daughter, Vivienne Miller of Santa Clara, three sons, Paul Kayler Jr.

of Cotati, John J. Kayler of New Lebanon, Ohio, and Keith Kayler of Cincinnati; two sisters, Dorothy E. Stigleman of Dayton, Ohio, and Louise Hyman of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence R. Flory, in 1979.
